UCF opened a brand new on-campus stadium (Bright House Network) a few years ago and since that time attendance has increased by more than 100% and have stayed that way consistently. UCF President John Hitt talks about what the new stadium has meant for the athletic department and the university overall.

UCF’s situation is very comparable to what CSU is going through right now. I believe this is a great testimony for what opportunities a new stadium could provide CSU and the City of Ft. Collins! Be Bold!! Go Rams!
Actually, I’m not so sure it’s that comparable. UCF used to play their ‘home’ football games in the Citrus Bowl, about 18 miles from campus and stuck in the middle of urban Orlando. I suspect there was complete disassociation between the campus and the gameday experience there.
